What can you see in Foshan, if you don’t intend to buy some furniture? Gardens that are smothered in flowers, parks with huge Buddha statues and other excellent places worth visiting.

In China parks and gardens, design is a kind of art. Nothing is plotted in a mess, everything is done extremely neatly. Architecture and decorations are aligned with traditions and really often their sense is figurative.

But for having a rest during your shopping tour it’s not necessary to understand, why pagoda has eight levels, not ten. We highly recommend you to visit these six places – try to go at least to one of them so as to have a fresh start at your shopping adventure.

Finally we would like to tell you about the most urbanistic and non-traditional park from our list (by the way, it was designed by the Americans, SWA Architects ). The quay and park with thick-set trees asymmetrically around Lake Tiandeng, so you can enjoy this water scenery from almost every location.

Inside you can see fountains and cafes, there is also an art gallery. It’s a great idea to rent a boat in the quay and explore the neighborhood. But it’s better to visit the park in the evening or night: when the illumination is turned on, the park is especially alluring.
